The PAPA Valley Breakfast
Was held on Saturday February 10, 2024
Thirty five hams, including prospective PAPA members attended our Lulu’s breakfast. Joining us were 2 new Techs, Dennis Ballas, now KO6DHN and Eddie Hart, now KO6DGK. We also had one who upgraded to General Class. Dennis, KO6DHN won the drawing for the TYT handheld. Tom Cagan, KB6NQW won the combined West Side and Valley lottery and chose the ANYTONE.
RJ Cassato, KM6AVH talked about having antenna events in local parks and how surprised he was at the distance some hams traveled to attend the one he did in Burbank. We also discussed setting up a simplex net for the PAPA System. All in all it was a good social morning with a lot of ham talk.
