Volunteer Reports
- WD6USN Darren is a member of the Tech Team and a net controller. Darren talked about recent maintenance and repairs on several repeater sites. He also talked about repeater sites scheduled for preventive maintenance: Mount Otay, Toro Peak, Santa Ynez, and Santiago Peak. Even though only two or three volunteers may visit a site, several Tech Team members are involved, and it may take 4-12 hours each of their donated time.
- KO6BKX IVO is our Meeting Coordinator and a Net Controller, he shared with us some challenges he has with the Inland Empire Restaurant. On several occasions, they have given short notice about the restaurant being unavailable available for the breakfast meeting. He has worked with the restaurant to inform him in advance of the dates that it will not be available. At the last Inland Empire breakfast, members in attendance decided to schedule a field event when the restaurant is not available. This could be an antenna demonstration, POTA,T-Hunt, or other activity at local location. The PAPA System needs volunteers to assist with breakfasts and lunchs. If you would like to join the team, please let Ivo know.
- AF6FB Michael  Tech Team member and Web Master talked about the new help desk software and how it makes both the process of creating tickets and answering them easier for all involved. Currently we have about eight volunteers responding to tickets.
The winner of the raffle was Danny KD6OKE, who selected the MITY Battery GO-Box from Impulse Electronics.
