Have you hear about Operation Cover up? PAPA members Kevin K4HD, Jason KN6SBR, Scott N6ZAR, Logan KD6LLB and Richard W6SFX have headed up a drive to collect jackets, blankets and sleeping bags for unhoused folks in our community. Kevin estimates over 120 items, including sleeping bags, jackets, blankets, and pillows have been distributed directly to the homeless population through Operation Cover Up and the generous donations from PAPA members.
So far Operation Cover Up has served:
- Phase 1-12/14: San Fernando/Santa Clarita Valley
- Phase 2- 12/15: DTLA/Skid Row
- Phase 3- 12/15: San Diego (postponed)
- Phase 4 -12/22: Long Beach
- Phase 5- 12/28: Inglewood, South Central, Watts
