Antenna Party in the Park, Sunday November 26
PAPA members met Sunday morning November 26 at McCambridge Park in Burbank to set up and demonstrate some of their favorite portable HF antennas. Thank you to Logan KD6LLB for these pictures. Enjoy!

PAPA Antenna Parties are a great opportunity for everyone to see, and try out, a variety of HF antennas in the wild. They are also a great opportunity to socialize and share tips, trick, and techniques for portable HF operation.
Everyone is welcome. Bring your favorite antenna, if you have one. Bring your questions, if you have those too.
Also: There will be Antenna Parties in other locations in the near future. If you were not able to attend this particular event, please help us plan another Antenna Party in your area.
Park on Amherst Dr. near the picnic tables (see map at left). Arrive early to get a good parking spot. Restaurants and restrooms nearby. Talk-in on the PAPA System.

This was a successful event. People who attended came from as far away as Solvang. I hope someone picks up the baton and heads up an antenna party in thier area. I think this event should be a monthly or even more often in their local areas. Good luck to all future events. 73. RJ
It was great And a big shout out to DX Eng. for the hats I passed out and to Noahs bagels for the dozen bagels and smear along with the coffee (all gone n 60 seconds, HAMS get hungry) At the next event,I’ll have to double the order! Dont miss the next one(?). Talk in to the Friday Antenna net and maybe Logan will have an update on the next one> A Good time was had by all!
