PAPA was at the 17th Annual Yuma Hamfest February 18-19, 2022. Cecil was able to get us an upgrade to the “Front of the Bus”, as in the booths you first see when entering the event space.
Friday Night PAPA Dinner @ Da Boyz Italian Restaurant
We had a lot of PAPA folks for the dinner… and Lou, KK2LOU won the Go Box. Congrats Lou!
The PAPA Portable Node was also at Yuma, so folks were able to remained connected to the PAPA System.
All things considered, Yuma this year was a big hit. We had items for sale at our booth and were able to raise a fair amount for our 2022 projects. While vendor attendance was a bit light, that afforded for some great networking with hams from other areas. We had positive reviews from those at Yuma which is always nice to hear.
Thank you to all the PAPA folks who came out to help set up, cover the booth, socialize, learn things and just have fun. Mark your calendars for next year as PAPA will be back in Yuma then!
