Malibu Public Safety Expo

Saturday June 4, 11am-2pm @ Malibu City Hall

Did you know that there are PAPA members who serve with Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) and Disaster Communication Service (DCS) teams?

Soon you’ll have an opportunity to meet CERT and DCS members and learn how they use their ham radio skills and equipment to serve their communities.

The City of Malibu will hold its annual Public Safety Expo on Saturday June 4 at the Malibu City Hall.

Exhibitors will include the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit and Search and Rescue Team, Malibu CERT, and the Disaster Communications Service team DCS-22.

There will be equipment vendors, product demonstrations, food trucks, an earthquake simulator, and much more.

This will be a great opportunity to learn about emergency preparedness, meet public safety and law enforcement personnel, and meet people active in Emergency Communications.
